If your a devout follower of my blog, you’ll know that I have been subject to the worst kind of man flu humanly possible so, it was with much joy yesterday that, after a whole week, I was able to leave the homestead!
Our party of 4 headed to Hansa’s in Weybridge which is a small (but very very busy) Thai restaurant for dinner and it was fabulous! I have had takeaway before however it’s the staff that really make it! We, over the course of the night had two waitresses, and whilst both were lovely one particular Thai waitress was so bubbly that it really made the meal!
The wine list is quite extensive however for once we were well behaved and had only one bottle of Chablis that was a very reasonable £29.00.
The menu too was extensive and as my stomach, from being ill has shrunken, I couldn’t do a starter however my companions did and they enjoyed it. They all had the Thai Dim Sum which looked, and apparently tasted, devine. They came in a portion of 3 and had a lovely garnish!
For mains I had the masaman curry which was truly amazing! The chicken was succulent and as I’m partial to very spicy food it was a perfect level of hot for me! The rest of my party had red Thai curry and Yum Woon Sen (which is a spicy glass noodle salad) which they all enjoyed!
Hansa’s strengths are its food, price and its staff! Our meal with wine and beers was £110 for 4 which is very well priced!
