As an event professional, planning an event on International Women’s Day is always something I take great pride in. This year’s theme of #ChoosetoChallenge is something I’ve put a great deal of thought into.
I want to ensure I am delivering an event to be proud of focusing on an event that will help challenge bias, celebrate women’s achievements, and contribute towards becoming a gender-equal world: all key messages and the driving themes behind this year’s IWD.
Over the years, I have produced panel events with excellent speakers, gala lunches and everything in between. One year, I was voted by my firm as an “inspirational woman,” which meant the world to me. Being completely virtual doesn’t mean we can’t be creative and give this oh so important day the creativity, innovation and excellence in events it deserves! What are you working on this year?
