On doing the obligatory LinkedIn search pre-work tomorrow, the below picture is my recommended reading and it got me thinking back to a few times I have actually cried at work. Working in corporate […]
Whilst it is still technically my “week”. I have half a day off this afternoon to deal with a plumber (which sounded a lot ruder when I said it to my fiancée) so I thought […]

"If you genuinely want something, don't wait for it -- teach yourself to be impatient" ~Gurbaksh Chahal
I have been pretty excited about quite a few things in my life. Meeting Bradley, getting engaged, planning our wedding, getting the phone call to say that I got the job with Virgin and then Emirates, landing in Paris for the first time, visiting the Maasi Mara just to name a few. I have been very fortunate! I am however so excited right now that I literally want to explode.
On Thursday, I get on a plane (on my own but oh well) and fly to meet 3 of my best friends Meaghan, Laura and Sarah in NYC for 3 days of fun to celebrate the lovely Laura’s 30th birthday. We have so much planned that the emails back and forth this past week about trying to squeeze stuff in is crazy. The girls have sorted out places for brunch, a plac e to have Pizza once we have walked over the Brooklyn Bridge & a multitude of bars and restaurants (of course). I adore New York, I have been 17 times but always with work and never with friends or family so I am even more excited! I have actually packed a dinner dress, a brunch dress, an outfit for central park walking and separate shopping outfits depending on where we go!
After we have done NYC, the 4 of us are flying together to Vegas for my hens’ do on Saturday night and I can tell you now this is when for me I am probably going to be unable to contain myself. Not only do we all get to fly in together where the stark contrast from desert to dazzling lights is a sight like no other, but as soon as we land we go and meet our friends, the rest of the party starts to arive and I literally cannot wait. I haven’t seen my other heart (my sister) for two years and we have so much planned, with all of my amazing friends flying in from all over the world to help celebrate and I can’t wait!
Stay tuned blog, there is going to be some fab blog posts when I get back!
Motivation for Monday Am fairly certain most people struggle with Mondays – in fact, its around this time on a Sunday evening that I start seeing the “Sunday night blues” posts on Facebook. This weekend […]
